Fields of application: for increase of bonding of plastered surfaces or surfaces painted with enamel, oil paint, concrete and other mineral surfaces; preparation of surfaces before priming with PRO acrylic structural, mosaic and decorative plasters, decorative fillers PRO.DEKOR, painting with textured paint FAKTŪRA, application of the levelling layer or gluing ceramic tiles. For internal and external applications.
Features: dried primer forms a film, which is permeable to water vapours and resistant to moisture and cold. Protects the base, improves adhesion, white, can be shaded, has a mild, specific odour.
Surface preparation: the surface to be primed must be clean, firm and dry. Remove all adhesion-reducing materials - oil, grease, dust, adhesives, mortar, old peeling paint, chalky surface.
Priming conditions: the base and ambient temperature during work and drying should not be lower than +5°C; the optimum painting conditions are +20°C and 65% RH.
Priming: apply evenly on the surface with a brush. The surface covered with the primer PRO KONTAKT may be painted or plastered only it fully dries.
Consumption: 0,15 - 0,50 kg/m² depending on the absorption of the surface.
Drying time: when the air temperature is 20°C and the relative air humidity is 65%: 4 - 6 hours. After priming low-absorbent surfaces (glazed tiles, surfaces covered with enamel or oil paint), further works (priming, plastering, tiling) can be carried out not earlier than after 24 hours.
Cleaning of tools: the tools must be washed with water immediately after use.
Storage and carriage conditions: in a temperature not lower than +5°C and not higher than +30°C, in a tightly closed container. Protect from direct sunlight and freezing!
Environmental and work safety: do not pour primer into drains, waters or soil. Avoid breathing vapor/aerosol. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory protective equipment. If swallowed, immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Keep away from children.
Volatile organic compounds: 1.1.8h) The VOC threshold limit – 30 g/l. The largest content of VOC in the ready-to-use product 29,95 g/l.
Duration of validity: 18 months from date of manufacture. Look on the package.
