PRO.ŠIFER

Fields of application: for painting new and old slate roofing, concrete and clay roofing tiles.

Features: solvent-free, water-diluted, specific odor, forms a semi-matt, elastic, weatherproof film. The paint contains silicone additives to protect the surface from atmospheric influences, dirt build-up and aging.

Surface preparation: surfaces must be dry and clean. After mechanical removal of dirt, primer the surface with PRO.ŠIFER primer, thoroughly rubbing the surface.

Painting conditions: surface and ambient temperature during work and drying must be at least +5°C; optimum conditions are at +20°C and 65% RH. Do not work in direct sunlight and strong draughts.

Painting: it is recommended to use the paint of a single batch and single pigmentation for the same area. Different batches of paint mix in one container and apply at once on the whole surface. This will help to avoid different shades. Stir the paint well; paint in 2 layers. It is recommended to apply the first layer with a brush rubbing well into the surface, while the second layer can be applied with a roller.

Consumption: 4-6 m²/l (painting in 2 layers).

Drying time: at +20°C temperature and 65% relative air humidity the paint is not sticky after 1 hour; paint repeatedly after 4-6 hours. Paint film gets it full firmness after at least 24 days.

Cleaning of tools: wash the tools with water immediately after use.

Storage and carriage conditions: at least + 5°C and not higher than +30°C in a tightly closed container. Protect from direct sunlight and freezing!

Environmental and work safety: do not pour paint into drains, water reservoirs or soil. Avoid breathing vapor/aerosol. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory protective equipment. If swallowed, immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Keep away from children.

The volatile organic compounds: 1.1.3c) the VOC threshold limit – 40 g/l. The maximum in ready to use product 39,95 g/l.
