AQUA PREMIUM ENAMEL

Fields of application: for the painting of new and previously painted wooden surfaces (windows and doors) as well as for primed metal elements. For internal and external use.

Properties: solvents-free, water-diluted, with a mild, specific odour, low viscosity, elastic, very good covering, good blending, resistant to wet scrubbing and atmospheric factors. Due to the biocidal product containing 4,5-dichloro-2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, 3-iodo-2-propynylbutylcarbamate, 2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, the paint is resistant molds (fungi) and algae.

Wooden surface preparation: surfaces must be clean, firm and dry. Remove old peeling paint and dirt from previously painted surfaces. Remove microorganisms and moulds with a special detergent. Before painting wooden surfaces indoors and outdoors, it is recommended to apply PRO primer GRUNTAS MEDIENAI, which reduces resin and tannins penetration into the surface. The primed surface can be painted after 12 hours. Metallic surface preparation: surfaces must be clean, firm and dry. Remove old peeling paint and rust mechanically, degrease the surface using household chemical agents (dishwashing detergents or solvent cleaners ); grind an aluminium surface with sandpaper to be matt. Prime such prepared surfaces with PRO anti-corrosive primer AQUA PRIMER METAL. The primed surface can be painted after 4-5 hours.

Painting conditions: the base and ambient temperature during work and drying must be at least +5°C; optimum conditions are at +20°C and 65% RH. Avoid direct sunlight and strong draughts.

Painting: it is recommended to use the paint of one batch and pigmentation for the painted area. It will help to avoid various shades. If necessary, the paint can be diluted with water (up to 5% by volume). Apply in two-three layers with a brush, roller or sprayer. After the first paint layer is dried on the new wooden surface, it is recommended to roughen the surface using an abrasive mesh No. 100-150. Surfaces can be joint together by painted areas after 6 hours. If upon closing a window or door, frames adhesion is still felt, it is recommended to wet the surface with soapy water in order to prevent the surface adhesion.

Consumption: 5-7 m²/l (painting in 2 layers). Drying time: at +20°C and 65% relative air humidity the paint is not sticky after 1 hour.paint repeatedly after 4-6 hours. Paint film gets it full firmness after at least 24 days. Cleaning of tools: wash the tools with water immediately after use.

Storage and carriage conditions: at least + 5ºC and not higher than +30°C in a tightly closed container. Protect from direct sunlight and freezing!

Environmental and work safety: do not pour paint into drains, water reservoirs or soil. Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Keep away from the environment. Dispose of contents / container to an approved waste disposal site. Avoid breathing vapor/aerosol. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory protective equipment. If swallowed, immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Keep away from children.

Volatile organic compounds: 1.1.4d) the VOC threshold limit – 130g/l. The maximum in ready to use product no more than 129,95g/l.
